Frequently Asked Questions

  • When will my pottery be ready to pick-up?

Clay Night guests will be notified by text message as soon as their pieces are finished (usually 3-4 weeks later.) Once you receive notification, you have 7 days to pick up your pieces from our After-Hours Pick-up Box right outside the studio door.

PLEASE NOTE: All Clay Night pieces not picked up within 30 days of notification will be discarded or donated (unless you have made arrangements with the studio owner.)

  • I know you are a small studio. Do you have a public restroom?

Restroom facilities are NOT available in our studio. However, we are happy to offer the use of the restroom in our home to our valued guests. If you should need to use the restroom during your class, please ask us.

  • Do you still sell gift certificates?

We no longer sell gift certificates, but we still accept previously purchased gift cards.

  • What do I do if I have lost the redemption code for a gift card I purchased?

If you need assistance with your gift card, please send us a text or email. Include the name of the person who bought the card and the purchase date. We will be able to look up your redemption code and let you know the remaining balance on the card. It's important to note that our gift cards never expire, so you can use them whenever you like.

  • How do I schedule a Clay Night?

Clay Nights are offered on select Saturdays, by appointment. To see what is available, click “Book a Clay Night” on the menu or click HERE

  • What if I've never done this before?

No problem! Our classes are open to both beginners and intermediate students. At the start of each session, your instructor will provide you with the necessary skills to get you started.

If you are interested in a more in-depth course, we offer an extended 8-week program! And if you enjoy the class, we would love for you to join us for another one when you are done. Current students will be given priority for class availability in the following semester.

  • Will I get dirty?

Probably. Wear clothing you don’t mind getting a little dirty. We have aprons and a towel for you to use, but you can also bring your own. Clay and glaze wash out of clothing, so don’t worry too much if you get some on you.

  • Do I get to take my work home with me?

Please keep in mind that due to the length of our classes, you won't be able to take your pottery home on the same day you create it. This is because your piece needs to dry completely, be fired, glazed, and fired again, which takes approximately 3-4 weeks to complete. We will notify you when your piece is ready for pick-up. However, if you have registered for an 8-week class, you'll be able to glaze your own bisque-fired pieces during class time and take them home once they have been glaze-fired.

  • If I'm sick and miss a day of my 8-week class, can I come another day to make it up?

We’d like to say we could provide an alternate day for you, but with the small size of our studio and our busy class schedule, we are unable to provide make-up days.

  • Do you rent out space in your kilns?

We currently DO NOT offer kiln space for rent. We provide firing services for current students only.

  • I'm looking for somewhere to come and work on my own. Do you have open studio hours?

Due to the small size of our studio, we are NOT able to offer open studio time. We hope you will consider taking a class or Clay Night.
